Drama of the road particularly violent and deadly on the night of Wednesday to Thursday. Four people died instantly during a collision between two cars in Saumur (Maine et Loire).
The cause of the accident, which occurred shortly after midnight on an urban boulevard limited to 70 km / h, would have originated, according to preliminary results of the survey, a driving error and excessive speed of both vehicles. On board the latter, a Porsche, there were two students from 20 to 21 years, to whom the vehicle was loaned.
The other vehicle was carrying a couple of sixty years, which has not survived the crash. According to investigators, "the shock front was extremely violent."
