Harassment / work: a suicide victim
An employee committed suicide four days after requesting the industrial tribunal to see Nancy bullying which he was claiming since 2008 on his workplace, officials said today from his lawyer.
"We had been before the industrial tribunal on February 22, to see the bullying and seek judicial resolution of the employment contract, obviously the exclusive fault of the employer," said employee's lawyer, Mr. Christian Olszowiak.
The man, aged 51, worked in a call center for a sign of frozen products in Ludres (Meurthe-et-Moselle), near Nancy. He complained about the conduct of his supervisor, in office since 2008. Depressed, he was hospitalized in a specialized structure for a year, after two suicide attempts. He committed suicide Saturday during a permission slip for the weekend, leaving a letter in which he believes that his employer "had the better of him," said his lawyer.
"A record of the Labour Inspectorate had found he was the victim of bullying," said Mr. Olszowiak. The Labour Court should render its decision on May 31 If the employee is off work due to his death, his wife and daughter wish to restart the procedure, said their lawyer. A criminal investigation is also underway: open to harassment, Mr. Olszowiak hope it is now moving towards "voluntary violence causing death without intention to kill."

Accused of having murdered a pensioner in Geneva: An imprisoned Ligérien
Saint-Just-Saint-Rambert acknowledges having murdered a pensioner, Switzerland, Geneva. The body was discovered Feb. 15 and the investigation in cooperation between police forces of both countries, led by Monday
an inhabitant of Saint-Just-Saint-Rambert is presumed guilty of murder in Geneva . He was arrested at his home Monday morning by the police of St. Stephen, presented yesterday to the judge, and dismantled.
This man, about thirty years, has killed his victim. He even brought multiple stab wounds, not only in the neck, but also to the head. Some of her clothing were found at his home stained with blood.
The body was discovered Feb. 15. The family remain worried that without new retiree who lived alone in a neighborhood in the Swiss city.
The investigation was entrusted to the Judicial Police (PJ) of Geneva, who has appealed to France. It was fast, especially from fingerprints and other clues like hair found on place. "When the good tips are activated," says Mr. Simon, head of the PJ Etienne. "The key was the collaboration between the two PJ; we know, we'll see, on the telephone."
The assailant was stuck for acts of deliberate violence, already. He had served as a prison in the past several years in prison: "He was well known." But not considered dangerous.
He lived normally "an orderly life" with family in Saint-Just-Saint-Rambert, working for the group Casino Saint-Bonnet-les-Oules. It does not, a priori, and behavioral disorders. He did not resist when arrested, he appeared very calm investigators: "He has a very cold eye on what he did."
He explained that he met his victim in the street, they sympathized, he agreed to be hosted. And he became violent when his host had made advances. These explanations are currently considered "weird" by investigators.
The Geneva is a sexagenarian, described as "a local figure known for his kindness, generosity, in the district."
His apartment was "slightly excavated, but it is difficult to know if something has gone since he was alone. "We do not know if the theft was the motive in all cases, this is not what he says," the police report.
One wonders what the Pontrambertois went to Geneva alone. The prosecutor himself, Andre Merle is the question.
He left the territory there are more than two weeks to two or three days. And then there was this meeting that the alleged murderer said completely coincidental. Bad game.
The investigation of the police wish to demonstrate this scenario or offer a different track than that indicated by the accused himself. Following the hearings and investigations are the responsibility of the police Etienne. And trial will be held before a French court sitting, almost certainly that of the court in Saint-Etienne.
