baptism, marriage, travel and Minçavi! This Sunday we will baptize Leah! October 17 is already an important date for us as we celebrate our first wedding anniversary. So when the option to baptize our daughter at that time came ... we jumped at the chance!
Invitations were sent, responses were received ... We are very happy, 50 people, adults and children, have confirmed their presence! It will be a real nice party for Lea officially welcome to our family!
For the occasion, we rented a small room at the University of Ottawa (the church being on the campus of the university) for a small reception after the ceremony! The cake was ordered .... Stepmother takes care of sandwiches ... Mamam handles my vegetables ... and we take care of the rest of the menu for a good buffet breakfast on Sunday afternoon!
I look forward to seeing everyone .. some have not yet made the acquaintance of Lea, so it promises to be a big day for the little cutie ...
Speaking of her ... she is 7 weeks today! Like every week we made our little photo shoot this morning! Miss seems to take a lot of fun! She begins to make small smiles at the camera! It is a true girl ... a True smaller poupoune! In the morning I brush her hair and I face cream and she loves!
Last weekend we were invited to a wedding. Leah came with us and she made it like a champion!! During the ceremony, which took place in a gazebo outside, she stayed quiet ... to make small smiles to mom!
During reception it was also super nice! Obviously she was hungry at the moment when the first service began .. hihi! But she ate well, stayed quiet during the speech .. has stayed a little in his stroller ... then she even danced a bit with mom in the evening! ;) A true little angel!
We were very pleased to see that she was so well behaved ... it looks good for his first voyage around the corner! And yes, we bought our tickets and we went out west in a few weeks with our little pot! Calgary, Kenmore, Banff, Jasper and Edmonton ... We're going to see the mountains, but also family and friends! Lea will fly for the first time in his short life! We look forward to this first family vacation!
Speaking of family, darling and I decided to make some changes in our lifestyle ... We registered both at Minçavi to lose weight while taking up healthy eating habits. I took a lot of unnecessary weight during my pregnancy and feel more or less comfortable in my skin right now ... We want to do it now while Leah is still small and maintain healthier habits that will experience growing up .. We believe that this is one of the most beautiful gift we can make our child ... We are already pretty good physical side, then it will be a matter of discipline and encouragement. On two it should be easier lose weight, but also to maintain the weight lost! story to follow!
